The Scope of Work
The project involved the complete reconstruction of a historic mill in the historic whaling city of New Bedford. The goals were to utilize many of the building’s original design elements to retain its historic character. Project highlights in this historic renovation included stripping layers of paint to reveal original wood, replacing three-tiered, transom topped windows to exact historic specifications, and replacing unique clerestory windows on the top level to create sun-filled hallways.
